As a Mentor, you'll use our Relational Mentoring approach to build trusted relationships with people both in custody and in the community.

This role provides a fantastic opportunity to join a highly motivated team, working directly with young people who need extra support through resettlement mentoring, as they prepare to leave custody (typically HMYOI Wetherby and/or HMYOI Werrington) and then upon their return to their community.&

Based within HMP Brixton, a men's Category C resettlement prison in South London, this role will work across our London prison services, supporting the delivery of high-quality treatment programmes and driving key strategic projects that improve outcomes for service users.

To provide holistic support for women experiencing multiple and complex needs. Women include those serving a community order and women released from HMP Eastwood Park.

Women in Prison’s Advocates deliver high-quality, trauma-informed, independent advocacy for women in communities and in prisons. 

Women in Prison’s South London Women’s Hubs provide support and advocacy to women at different points of the criminal justice system whether they are at risk of offending, serving a community sentence, or in custody and leaving prison. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Career Information Advice and Guidance (CIAG) Adviser, working with offenders in custody to help them prepare for work on release.
