Khidmah Organisation was formed in 1999 as a non-profit voluntary organisation with its vision of bringing the community of Leicester together through community events. The events bring different communities, friends, family and neighbours together to enjoy a day of recreation, sports activities and entertainment.
Since its inception with the support of the community, Khidmah has developed into a more diverse organisation. However, the foundation to organise community events remains its strength to this day.

Our aims are: to provide a range of services whereby the diverse communities of Leicester gather together and forge lifelong relationships; to organise events/activities encouraging community cohesion, respect and loyalty towards people and the neighbourhood they live in; to empower communities in engaging with service provisions, by connecting with providers and becoming part of the decision-making framework.

The Kingston Muslim Association (KMA); Kingston Mosque, provides a range of holistic services for the communities of Surrey, drawing on our Islamic values and heritage, with a view to improving quality of life and enhancing community cohesion.
Our aims are to:
• Focus on the needs of the diverse Muslim community whilst ensuring services are open to all.
• Meet the needs of the local community by promoting health, education and employment opportunities.
• Provide Muslims and non-Muslims with the opportunity to learn and understand Islam, through dialogue, discussion and social interaction.
• Contribute to the social, cultural, spiritual and economic enhancement of the whole community, through policy and strategy development and service.

Langley House Trust works with ex-offenders, and those at risk of offending, to establish positive foundations so that they can lead crime-free lives and become contributors to society. We have a 3% reconviction rate nationally. We achieve this through accommodation-based support, comprehensive rehabilitation and personal development programmes, education and vocational training, move-on support and in-prison visiting. We are a Christian charity, working with people of any faith or no faith.

When the student is ready the teacher will appear. We use the services project services and programs to empower the BME community to discover their purpose their pathway and place them around the right network of people who will nurture their talents and gifts in order for them be productive, prosperous in good health, create wealth and leave a legacy.

Lighthouse West Yorkshire is a fresh expression of church and registered Leeds-based charity which reaches out to those who are battered and bruised by the storms of life. This includes people who are homeless, drug addicts, offenders and ex-offenders, and other highly vulnerable people who live on the margins of society with issues like mental health crisis and extreme poverty. We offer a safe haven where they can socialise, be supported practically and pastorally, and where they can find a sense of purpose and belonging.

We are a homeless prevention and housing advice service in our local community of Kendal. We run a drop in community where all are welcome and offer support vulnerable adults with many different issues including homelessness, addiction, mental health or just in need of housing or benefits advice.
We hold drop-in lunches where people can get food, showers, clothes and other basic needs. We also run weekly skills days with training and education and facilitate groups such as AA and NA.
We keep the profile of homelessness and housing issues raised in our local community and advocate for our vulnerable clients with landlords and statutory services.
Many of our clients have experience in the criminal justice system, we support them with prison visits, coordinating transitions and advocating on their behalf to make sure their needs are met.

Metanoeo offers the troubled and troublesome life coaching to help build a positive fulfilling life. Metanoeo also provides training and academic courses. Metanoeo has a particular interest in engaging service user's faith concepts (including spirituality, religion, humanism or belief which is helpful to them).

The Mother and Child Welfare Organisation (MACWO) is a charity dedicated to providing physical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city mothers and children as well as young people, as well we do provide the course to support people to get back to work. MACWO has had tremendous success in terms of delivering projects, which contribute to its overall aims and objectives. Of course it is important to note that this success would not have come about without the genuine support of its funders, supporters and partners who have contributed enormously.

Mothers’ Union is a Christian mission charity that seeks to support families worldwide. In over 80 countries, our 4 million volunteer members share one heartfelt vision - to bring about a world where God’s love is shown through loving, respectful and flourishing relationships.Rooted in our voluntary ethos our activities are driven by and undertaken through members wherever they are. Through programmes, campaigning, community outreach and prayer Mothers’ Union promotes stable marriage and family life. We tackle the most urgent needs facing communities, and we undertake projects that foster strong families, protect children and result in cohesive and independent communities.

We are currently active in about 90 prisons were our volunteers work in visitors centres, along side the chaplaincy, or providing services to prisoners and their families.The provisions varies according to the local need and capacity.

International relief organisation fundraising in the UK and distributing those funds to educational and humanitarian projects worldwide.

To provide care and support to prisoners, who want to 'go straight'. We befriend them in prison and help them rebuild a life upon release by helping them find accommodation, work and a Church/social environment. We keep in touch, support them for as long as needed. We have volunteers that visit them in prison and support them while they adjust to life in the community. Our aim is that these people never re-offend and our track record is good so far. This organisation has/is supporting 50 clients and hopes to provide support to another 5 released prisoners this year. We have some accommodation to help support clients post hostel.

New Foundations works with men and women of any ethnicity and with any religious interest or none. Our service is probably best suited for clients under 40 years of age.

Our mentoring service lasts 6-9 months. Whilst New Foundations is faith-based, we are not faith focused. Our agenda is helping the client make progress along any or all of the seven pathways to reduce re-offending.
We endeavour to provide holistic support which include:
• Practical Help (ex. securing an ID, navigating Universal Credit, use of a loaner phone, etc.)
• Wise Guidance (ex. managing money. setting goals, finding private accommodation, etc.)
• Emotional Support (listening, encouraging, etc.)

We offer a specialised service in debt management (through CAP) and one-to-one counselling (through CCTS). A high value is working with the client’s Offender Manager to support the Sentence Plan.

St Georges Crypt is a Christian Charity which has been based in the heart of Leeds since 1930. We provide practical care and support to homeless, disadvantaged and vulnerable adults, regardless of their race, religion or circumstances.
Our main services include providing a hot meal to approx 70 people, an overnight care centre with 15 bedrooms and up to 20 temporary beds. Resettlement to move people on into their own accommodation. Two residential projects - Faith Lodge which is a place of recovery and Regent Terrace for dependant drinkers.
Nurture is our social enterprise providing professional catering, we offer service users, ROTL and ex-offenders the opportunity to gain experience, achieve qualifications and possible employment. To date we have found employment in our organisation for 12 people from prison and 2 from Probation. On October 2014 Nurture won the award for Employer of Offenders 2014. We are hoping that winning the award will help us secure funding.

Oak London provides a residential course and mentoring programme for young men aged 18+ who have faced challenges. We are especially inclusive of young men who are at risk of offending or reoffending. Our programme is always small and participant centred. It provides the means to inspire positive decision-making and hope-filled futures.

The programme consists of five parts:
1) Enrolment - the suitability and buy-in of the participant is assessed.
2) Residential - a 4-5 day retreat in Bristol which includes a balance of deep reflective exercises (workshops on themes such as forgiveness and reconciliation, hopes and dreams, masculinity) and community-building activities (e.g. exercise, cooking and eating together).
3) Follow-up sessions - these underpin the routines and learning from the residential course. Here we provide assistance in guiding and signposting your next steps.
4) Community project - designed and run by the participants.
5) Mentoring - weekly for 1 year.

The Oasis Aquila Mentoring Project offers intensive support for up to two years to people - male and female, aged 18+ years - who have had a custodial sentence and will be released into the Tyne and Wear community.

Out of Ashes Ministries was founded after the successful release of Peter Gladwin's book Out of the Ashes. Since then, the ministry has been instrumental in bringing the message of transformation to thousands of people throughout the the Nations.

We are a specialist domestic and sexual abuse service provider with emergency accommodation, community support, helpline, groups and counselling. We also work with children and young people, and support the parenting role. We have a drop in centre for immediate help, where we provide legal clinics, access to support with alcohol and mental health issues, and all abuse related work. We take a holistic view of support needs and will work with the issues around the abuse but also provide services for all other life issues. We work primarily with women and children but also have services for male victims. We have a 24 hour helpline and so are available easily and at any time. Our ethos is that we will provide as many of the services needed under one roof wherever this is possible. We recognise that life has many challenges and that working in isolation is not the answer - we have a partnership ethos throughout our organisation.

Pact is a pioneering national charity that supports prisoners, people with convictions, and their children and families. We provide caring and life-changing services at every stage of the criminal justice process: in court, in prison, on release, and in the community, based on a public health model of practice.

We work in more than 60 prisons and provide prison-based family engagement and social workers, Visitors’ Centres, visitor support, supervised play, catering, family activities, relationship and parenting education programmes, court and community family support, resettlement support and community-based mentoring and befriending programmes. Our volunteers and staff can be found in courts, prisons, probation services, and in communities across England & Wales.

We also run the HMPPS contracted national Prisoners' Families Helpline which can be reached seven days a week on 0808 808 2003.

Our mission is to show Christ’s love to people in prison by coming alongside them and supporting them. We seek, through prayer and practical care, to help, support and develop a Christian ministry to people in prison and their families.

We do this through our network of over 2,500 volunteers. We are currently ministering in almost all of the 120 prisons in England and Wales.

We operate a social enterprise household mill shop, recycling centre and 'unpaid work'/'conditional caution' supervision.

Based in Elland, Halifax, Calderdale, West Yorskhire. Cover Calderdale, Kirklees and Bradford.

Opportunities for unpaid work include retail, warehouse, driver's mate and recycling/reuse tasks.

This supports our charity that provides:
- support for families & individuals affected by addiction.
- personal development training (Self Esteem/Confidence Building, Conflict Resolution and Anger Management, Admittance, Acceptance, Amends, Problem Solving, Dealing with anxiety, stress & depression, Emotional development, Goal setting and attainment)
- Home Starter Packs for people fleeing domestic violence, leaving prison, homeless etc.
