Oasis Community Housing is a Christian homelessness charity working across Tyne & Wear and London. For over 40 years, we have supported people experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness, or facing multiple disadvantage, helping them access safe accommodation, improve wellbeing and build greater independence.
We provide homelessness prevention, supported accommodation, Housing First, outreach, drop-in services, tenancy sustainment, financial capability and debt advice, alongside practical support such as food provision, showers, laundry facilities and digital inclusion. Our work is trauma-informed, relationship-based and tailored to the complex needs of the people we support.
Many of the people we work with have experience of the criminal justice system, including those leaving prison and under probation supervision. Working closely with statutory and voluntary sector partners, we help people secure accommodation, access health and support services, develop life skills and build stable, independent lives.
