Overview
Clinks supports voluntary organisations working in the North East of England to reduce reoffending and support people in contact with the criminal justice system. The North East faces some of the highest levels of social and economic deprivation in England, and the voluntary sector plays a critical role in tackling these challenges; delivering services such as housing, health, mental health, addiction recovery, and employment support. With a concentration of prisons and probation services, and a growing focus on community-based solutions, voluntary organisations are vital partners in supporting people to turn away from crime and build positive futures.
