Bio - Description
Natalie's current role within Clinks is Senior Engagement and Development Officer for the North East, Yorkshire and Humber. This role has been developed to support and advocate for the voluntary sector working in Criminal Justice at a regional level. Natalie also has line management responsibility for other engagement and development officer staff and leads on sector support around Probation commissioning, with regular engagement with MoJ officials. Natalie has volunteered and worked in the voluntary sector for over 20 years. Natalie grew up in the North East of England and has a real passion for supporting those facing multiple disadvantage. Natalie joined Clinks in 2013 and has undertaken a number of different functions including most recently coordinating the Families Network. This network aims to support the sector improve policy and practice for children and families affected by the criminal justice system. Natalie has also helped local areas create lasting change for those facing multiple disadvantage via the Making Every Adult Matter Coalition.
Natalie has in-depth knowledge of the needs of the sector having worked for local, regional and national infrastructure organisations. Natalie can build strong relationships across sectors and uses her skills and knowledge to advocate for voluntary sector involvement in policy and practice.
