Mentoring Plus is a local charity which supports young people facing challenges by connecting them with their community through award winning mentoring schemes, youth clubs, projects and inspiring activities programmes.

We employ professional case workers to listen to young people and understand what they want and need.
We link each mentee with a volunteer mentor from their own community who we think they’ll get along with, and we support that relationship all the way.

We train those volunteer mentors, giving them access to the knowledge, techniques and support they’ll need to help a young person.
We provide expert supervision to mentors, just like professional counsellors receive.

We provide a one-year mentoring programme, using volunteer mentors, targeted at young people aged between 12 and 17 who are at risk of offending. We run a programme of holiday activities and evening interest groups.

The project provides mentoring support to Merseyside based offenders pre and post release from prisons across Merseyside and the North West to enable offenders to effectively resettle back into the community. By supporting their criminogenic needs the project is focused on reducing or ceasing their offending behaviour. The project provides a comprehensive service to offenders from mentoring appointments in HMP Liverpool, through the gate support on the day of release, to appointments in the community with volunteer mentors and the opportunity to become a mentor themselves. The Project also recruits and trains Peer Mentors in HMP Liverpool to support offender’s needs in custody and promote engagement.

Merton & Lambeth Citizens Advice Bureaux (MLCAB) provide information, advice and casework across the London Boroughs of Lambeth and Merton. It does so from its three main sites in Morden, Mitcham and Streatham Hill, at 15-20 outreach locations, via e-mail and by telephone.

MLCAB also seeks to exert a responsible influence on the development and application of policies and working practices. It dose so by collating and submitting evidence of its customers' experience.

MLCAB is a volunteer based organisation with volunteers being supported by a paid staff and management structure. MLCAB seeks to work with those who wish to do so to develop career paths and follow routes into work.

Metanoeo offers the troubled and troublesome life coaching to help build a positive fulfilling life. Metanoeo also provides training and academic courses. Metanoeo has a particular interest in engaging service user's faith concepts (including spirituality, religion, humanism or belief which is helpful to them).

Our organisation provides low cost counselling and psychotherapy to the community, supporting clients with a range of needs and complexities. We train new counsellors and psychotherapists and support them in developing their skills through our low cost service.

METRO promotes health, wellbeing, equality & participation through youth services, mental health & wellbeing services, sexual & reproductive health & HIV services and community participation & involvement.

METRO works with anyone experiencing issues related to gender, sexuality, diversity or identity.

METRO is at the outset of providing Independent Advocacy and sexual health services within prisons.

MhIST provides a specialised advocacy service focusing on the needs of people with mental health problems. Our advocates work in the community, in residential settings and in hospital. We have developed a service which provides for BME communities, people who live in care, nursing and residential settings, older people, LGBT communities and IMHA, as well as our mainstream work.
Secondly we provide self help support groups for people who experience - Bi polar affective disorder; Depression; Self Harm; OCD; Craft and Social and Substance abuse issues. Other group support is through Reiki Meditation; Drama Therapy and Mindfulness.
Our third offering is Talk therapy where we provide a variety of different talk therapies such as CBT, NLP, TA, Integrative approaches.
We provide Information to service users and carers via a range of linked web sites, through hard copy information leaflets and through 1-to-1 discussion.

MHM was established 30 years ago by families and carers in the North East to provide support and care for people they loved with mental health problems.

Today we have grown into a major national organisation supporting people with learning disabilities, drug and alcohol and other problems, as well as our core client group of people with mental health needs, across the UK through a range of evidence based and innovative services.

Our fully trained, dedicated, experienced and caring staff work with partner organisations to deliver comprehensive services to meet a full range of personal needs in a seamless manner to help vulnerable people to develop, ‘recover’ and move on to independent living whenever possible.

We provide support to more than 60,000 people every year, covering many aspects of their lives: from psychological and well-being therapeutic recovery interventions through to everyday employment, housing, independent and community support needs.

Friends of Peterborough Prison (FOPP) is an organisation working in partnership with HMP Peterborough to provide support to prisoners, their families and friends. FOPP was founded in 2005 when the prison opened, and our office is located in the Visitors Centre at HMP Peterborough. FOPP offers opportunities to volunteer directly inside the prison, for example supporting residents with their learning in the Education department. FOPP also offers a friendly face on arrival at the Visitors Centre, running a small snack bar for family, friends and other visitors. We are primarly an Advice and Advocacy organisation that provides specialist advice in the areas of Debt, welfare benefits, employment and housing. We also have specialist projects assisting individuals with learning difficulties, mental health issues, forces families and those with life limiting conditions. We in addition are part of partnership with all CAB's in North Yorkshire, Foundation Housing, Mencap and Local Advocacy services. We have provide regular advice services to the local prison and continue to have a strong relationship with support agencies in our area.

Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind supports people who have mental health problems and who are involved in the Criminal Justice System. This includes a Diversion and Resettlement service that offers practical support to people in police custody, in court, on release from prison and in the community with the aim of reducing re-offending and improving mental health and wellbeing. Mind also delivers a counselling service in local prisons. Other services offered by Mind include mentoring, advocacy, training, carer support, young person's support, outreach work, reablement services and psychological therapies.

We deliver our work through a wide range of programmes.:
Community engagement: a route by which local people can have a voice and influence over the initiation, design, development and evaluation of policies and services that have an impact on them.
Development support: supporting the development of community groups and voluntary organisations, including: setting up an organisation (including support around appropriate governance models); funding advice and support; development of policies and procedures; good practice in running and developing services.
VCS representation, voice and influence: we provide a range of services whereby we represent VCS interests in work with a variety of stakeholders and we facilitate a number of networks and forums.
Volunteering: we provide support to volunteer involving organisations to support them in good practice, as well as providing a brokerage service for Middlesbrough people interested in volunteering.

Our aim is to improve the lives of boys, men, husbands and fathers so that they in turn make a significant and beneficial difference to the lives of their children, their spouse/partners and of those in their community. Ending gang and youth violence.

Our aims are:
1. The provision of a free, impartial service of information, guidance and support.
2. To provide the advice people need for the problems they face.
3. Value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination.
4. To improve the policies and practices that affect peoples’ lives.
5. To ensure individuals do not suffer through lack of knowledge of their rights and responsibilities or through an inability to express their needs effectively.

We meet the needs of the most disadvantaged in the local community by providing free, confidential and impartial advice on an entire range of subject areas, including money/debt advice, welfare benefits, consumer, housing, employment and relationship breakdown.

Mind in Camden works alongside people experiencing voices, visions, unusual beliefs, anxiety, hopelessness and extremes of mood, stimulating development in mental health services by providing and partnering in services that increase self-esteem and hope, promote peer support and co-production and challenge stigma and prejudice.

Our Prisons project has developed a network of peer support groups for people in prison who hear voices or have other unusual sensory experiences (linked to trauma, mental ill health, drug use and/or emotional issues). We co-facilitate groups, and train/support staff prisons to improve outcomes for prisoners and ex-offenders who hear voices.
- We co-ordinate the London Hearing Voices Network and run an innovative projects developing peer support for young people who hear voices (Voice Collective) and groups for people struggling with paranoia.
- Our Mental Health Day Service is co-produced, enabling service users to plan and provide their own services.

Mind in Haringey provides a number of services primarily for people within Haringey, although some of our services are also offered to residents of boroughs with no local mind association. We aim to meet the needs of our community, to provide services which are in demand and to work collaboratively with our major partners to ensure that our local community have easy access to the services and support that they need, when they need it.

Providing therapeutic photography workshops to groups using mindful photography to improve visual literacy, wellbeing and to promote exercise.

The outcomes of therapeutic photography are increased self knowledge, self esteem and self efficacy.

Miss Macaroon provides award winning training and personal development support to young offenders in the West Midlands. Miss Macaroon has proven results in improving young people's employability, increasing aspirations, confidence and skills. Using mentoring and employability support young offenders have increased access to mainstream training, apprenticeships and jobs in catering.

Money A+E is an award winning social enterprise that provides money advice & educational services to BAME (Black, Asian, minority ethic) & disadvantaged communities in London.This is achieved through 1-2-1 benefit & debt advice, financial education workshops, money mentoring programmes and bespoke training. Our services are delivered to young people & adults in Schools, Universities, Community Hubs, Social Landlord's offices, Partnered local Voluntary Organisations & Local Authority Community spaces.
Through our services people:

- improve their chances of sustaining tenancies & avoiding homelessness

Services provided by this organisation comprise of domestic abuse community support, female and male safe-house accommodation, drop-in centre, floating support, child contact centre, community contact, support services, safety sessions and 24-hour-staffed emergency helpline.
