Friends of Peterborough Prison (FOPP) is an organisation working in partnership with HMP Peterborough to provide support to prisoners, their families and friends. FOPP was founded in 2005 when the prison opened, and our office is located in the Visitors Centre at HMP Peterborough. FOPP offers opportunities to volunteer directly inside the prison, for example supporting residents with their learning in the Education department. FOPP also offers a friendly face on arrival at the Visitors Centre, running a small snack bar for family, friends and other visitors.
