Rebuilding Futures Alliance is a not-for-profit organisation established to create national opportunities for employers, helping place people with low-level past convictions into full-time, meaningful careers at scale. The initiative brings together a powerful alliance of credible charities, each with a strong track record and a national network of experienced providers.

Launched in January 2025, our mission is to reduce reoffending by building inclusive and sustainable employment pathways for people with previous convictions who have spent time in prison. As a business-led organisation, we partner with expert charities and social enterprises to create smart pathways that both mitigate risk for employers and support individuals in rebuilding their futures.

In today’s fast-paced society, we believe lasting change comes when businesses work directly with grassroots organisations, combining resources, expertise, and purpose to unlock second chances and strengthen communities.

RECOOP promotes the care, resettlement and rehabilitation of older offenders and ex-offenders, in particular but not exclusively through the provision of support, advocacy, mentoring and advice on finance, housing and health that will enable them to take control of their lives and remain free from offending and prevent them from becoming socially excluded. We offer consultancy, training and direct services aimed at supporting prisons, probation staff and other organisations, including third-sector organisations, to build the range, capacity and skills necessary to meet the needs of older offenders in custody and through the resettlement transition. A number of our services are available through the Prison Education Framework Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). These include our day centre and buddy support management and training services, in-cell distraction packs and our older ‘Transition’ resettlement course.

Recruit With Conviction works with employers to promote safe and effective recruitment of people with criminal records. Our core consultancy/training products are APPLY WITH CONVICTION which develops services to support people with criminal records to sustainable employment and ***RECRUIT WITH CONVICTION*** which supports good practice in recruitment of people with criminal records. NOTE: We do not provide direct support to people with criminal records.

Recycle-IT is an exciting Social Enterprise that Recycles computers and puts them back into the community with local people at the heart of the enterprise.

Now more than ever there a need for more low cost computer equipment at home and a need for ethical recycling for the old equipment, and that's where we can help, by diverting any waste from landfill with thoughtful innovative ways and any equipment practically useful and reusable will be provided to the community at large.

Recycling Lives Charity & Social Enterprise reduces reoffending rates by supporting ex-offenders to develop skills, secure jobs and live independently.
Working with men and women in prison and in the community, it offers work and training opportunities, professional wrap-around support, peer-to-peer support and accommodation opportunities.

We deliver first class mental health services and training across the Borough, from our roots as a small service user led charity, we have grown and developed new and innovative services that respond to the needs of our local community. Delivering services that generate positive mental health outcomes lies at the heart of what we do. We promote positive mental well-being through a range of activities which are tailored to focus on people’s strengths and build their confidence and self-esteem as well as lessening isolation and providing a network of support and practical strategies to use as needed. Our Road to Recovery Service uses person-centred assessment and support planning to assist recovery from mental illness. Personalised support includes assessment, goal setting, therapeutic and practical interventions. It may include preparation for work or volunteering, for vulnerable adults.

The Diversion from Custody project aims to increase skills and confidence through developing and running programmes aimed at improving the economic activity of target groups through improving employment skills, opportunities, access to business start up courses and start up finances, developing their entrepreneurial skills and competencies in key areas of business planning and project management.

Our mission is to support individuals who have been affected either directly or indirectly by a Gambling Addiction and/org Gambling Related Harm.

We use Recovery Coaching as a modality to help and support others across three main themes of delivery:

- Pre Support
- After Care
- Workplaces

Refuge opened the world’s first refuge in Chiswick in 1971. Refuge is the country’s largest single provider of specialist accommodation and support to women and children escaping domestic violence, supporting 2,800 women and children on any given day. Refuge provides safe, emergency accommodation through a network of refuges throughout the country and runs the Freephone 24-Hour National Domestic Violence Helpline in partnership with Women’s Aid. Refuge also offers community based outreach services, specialist services for minority ethnic communities and a team of independent domestic violence advocates (IDVAs) to support women experiencing domestic violence.

We provide impartial, independent and confidential information and advice on a wide range of topics including debt, employment, benefits, housing, legal advice, personal/relationships, tax and consumer. We also run similar services to the Resettlement Unit within HMP Highdown in an attempt to reduce re-offending upon release. We work with all members of our local community and have had ex-offender volunteers. Some of our Peer Supporters within the prison service have gone onto become volunteers upon release and subsequently moved into paid employment. We offer a fully certified, supported training programme to all our staff and volunteers. This is modular to allows progression at a pace to suit the volunteer. We also offer training programmes to outside agencies both statutory and voluntary.

Relate Cymru is an all-Wales, independent charity and part of the Relate Federation. Our vision is a future in which healthy relationships are actively promoted as the basis of a thriving society in Wales.

We deliver high quality services throughout Wales, face to face, online and by phone; including:
- Relationship counselling for adults, couples and families (addressing couple and family dynamics around conviction)
- young people's counselling (including the effects of parental conviction)
- training courses (including pre-release family dynamics, tackling abusive behaviour in children and staff training)
- Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programme
- Mediation for parents and families (North Wales)
- Child contact services (supervised and supported) (North Wales)

Relate are positioned as a 'through the gate' agency working with offenders and families to strengthen their relationships leading up to and following release. We offer a combination of counselling and training workshops, motivational interventions and group work.

Relate is the leading organisation in relationship counselling and support. Relate Portsmouth & District is a member of the Relate Federation and has provided services in the City of Portsmouth for over 60 years. We provide our services from our central Portsmouth Centre and at approved locations in Gosport, Fareham and Havant and we work with our Relate partners to provide Hampshire wide coverage.

Our talking therapies for adults, children and families include Adult Relationship Services, Family Therapy and Young People Relationship Services. We also offer Psychosexual therapy for couples and individuals aged 16 and over and Family Mediation.

Release Mates is a growing team of rehabilitated prison leavers who support other people leaving prison in the immediate 3 - 5 hours after release. Whilst offering support with practical issues such as benefits, food, clothing, attending appointments, the team use their lived experience of recovery from addiction and navigating away from the revolving door, to trigger a motivation for positive change.

ReMade is a women's only workshop in the heart of Wigan. We paint furniture and do different kinds of creative activities in a safe, women's only space. Supported by volunteer mentors, women can come in, try what they want to and learn new skills, share their creative learning and enjoy making mistakes and a mess. Women who attend are encouraged to stay and act as peer mentors to others, and given options about setting up their own activities. Practical advice and support can be given to help women set up projects independently.
We sell our furniture online to provide us an income, and women can join in with any part of that process, from sourcing, designing, painting and marketing.
It's free for women to attend our workshop drop in sessions. We can also offer workshops and resources out in the community.

Remedi is a restorative justice organisation delivering restorative interventions to youth and adult offenders, including victim-offender mediation, mentoring, victim awareness training and victim advocacy and support. We also deliver restorative approaches in schools and train other professionals in restorative practice.

Renaissance at Drugline-Lancashire delivers services independently and as part of local substance misuse and sexual health partnerships. Operating under the umbrella of Renaissance you will find a range of specialist, experienced professional teams. For Blackpool we provide a full range of both adult Substance Misuse and Sexual Health Services. In Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen, Renaissance provides Sexual Health Services

We provide Housing and Support for homeless and vulnerable adults in Nottinghamshire. Our service is a stepping stone for people in a crisis situation like homelessness, mental health, cycle of offending etc. We aim to support our service users towards eventually being able to move on to into more independent living.
