Our Mission statement: Prisoner Support Services highlight welfare, and crime entanglements by recognising people’s individual needs, situations and goals. Through this recognition, people can behave responsibly and contribute to society. Removing barriers and limitations will Provide adequate support, Supporting our service users to enable people to mobilise their ideas, and goals and be strengthened to move forwards towards aspirational living.
This will allow social change.

We make it possible for volunteers in the community to write letters to prisoners, and to receive letters in return, and to do so in safety.

The Prisoners' Advice Service provides free legal advice and representation to adult prisoners in England and Wales regarding their rights, and regardless of the individual prisoners' means. PAS aims to educate and empower prisoners regarding the law and their legal and human rights.

Prodigal Bikes works with ex-offenders, children excluded from mainstream schools and the long-term unemployed. We overhaul and upgrade mountain bikes together. We provide workshop facilities, bikes and training to allow the people we work with to learn basic Engineering skills, with a view to them pursuing further training and gaining employment in this sector.
Most of overhauled bikes are then shipped to remote pats of Africa where they are given primarily to schools to allow children there to get to school more easily, giving them a better start in life. Bikes too complex for rural Africa are given to refugees here in Somerset.
We believe the sense of achievement in making a large difference to the lives of some very poor people in Africa will make a huge difference to the people we work with, helping them to beat the cycle of reoffending, and find better more sustainable lives for themselves.

Progressive Lifestyle Solutions is a Community Interest Company that specialises in the provision of housing and support services for adult males at risk of homelessness in the Liverpool area. Using an holistic, person-centred approach to helping service users back to independent living, we provide them with the necessary tools, skills and knowledge to make this sustainable.
We have a fully functional gymnasium and sauna facility, free of charge to all service users, which provides training and fitness programmes alongside our onsite fitness instructor and dietician. We also have a strategic partnership with a local college, who deliver "Skills for Life" courses from our I.T. Suite and Classroom.
Other services include Employability coaching, CV Writing, and provision of food products as part of our Salvage Membership with a local wholsaler.
We have our own portfolio of "move-on" properties, which enable service users to seamlessly revert to independent living when they are ready.

We operate a social enterprise household mill shop, recycling centre and 'unpaid work'/'conditional caution' supervision.

Based in Elland, Halifax, Calderdale, West Yorskhire. Cover Calderdale, Kirklees and Bradford.

Opportunities for unpaid work include retail, warehouse, driver's mate and recycling/reuse tasks.

This supports our charity that provides:
- support for families & individuals affected by addiction.
- personal development training (Self Esteem/Confidence Building, Conflict Resolution and Anger Management, Admittance, Acceptance, Amends, Problem Solving, Dealing with anxiety, stress & depression, Emotional development, Goal setting and attainment)
- Home Starter Packs for people fleeing domestic violence, leaving prison, homeless etc.

PRHA has provided housing & support since 1850, registering as a RSL in 1975. We support single homeless people, rough sleepers, those with mental health support needs, substance misuse issues, families, care leavers, older people and ex-offenders, delivering specialist services to some of the most socially excluded people in East London. We operate in the LB Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Islington & City of London. We provide a range of hostel accommodation, floating support, specialist services & general needs housing.
We have services specifically for people involved in the criminal justice system: Two mental health Link Worker projects (link people with mental health issues back into support), probation based housing advice service, a women's one-stop shop & a user-led peer support service. We coordinate a Community of Practice for frontline workers to discuss good practice in working with people with complex needs.

Family Impact for Prisoners’ Children at PSS, (Person Shaped Support) supports children with a parent in prison, or children whose parents have been in prison. Ours is a ‘whole family’ model. We provide: Advice on what to tell the children about the imprisonment, 1:1 support for children to discuss their feelings regarding contact and peer group support for children where they can meet others who share their experience. We work in partnership with schools, prisons, probation and social services. We take children on prison visits where there is no other suitable adult to do so. Parents, including both the parent/carer and the prisoner parent post-release, can join our Family Recovery Programme. Parents consider the impact imprisonment has had on the family and consider their parenting approach through our Nurturing Programme. Prisoner parents post-release are helped to reintegrate back to family and community life. We run an award winning support group for family members.

Clinical psychology exists in an ivory tower, which means that only a select few have access to our provision. Services, knowledge and provision are inaccessible to marginalised communities. Traditional mental health services can’t always or struggle to meet the needs of people who experience community violence directly or indirectly. Traditional mental health services are frequently staffed by professionals who lack the lived experience or cultural competence to fully understand the nuances of community violence, which ultimately leads to a disconnect between providers and the people they aim to help. So we’ve set up Psychologists the streets deserve because we strongly believe that we are clinical psychologists that communities can trust and relate to. We are psychologists that the streets deserve and feel that they can access. We specialise in trauma and PTSD and understand that trauma from community violence impacts not only individuals but families, communities and society.

We aim to help people experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives and achieve their full potential by providing a range of support services tailored to their needs. By doing so, we aim to reduce homelessness and help vulnerable individuals become self-sufficient and independent.

Adds Up is one of finance projects that provides financial education to those involved in the criminal justice system.

We provide practical support to women involved in off-street prostitution and victims of sex trafficking. This includes one-to-one case work, counselling and wellbeing sessions, mentoring, befriending and not-time bound pastoral care.
We provide long-term, practical and confidential support regardless of who you are or the journey you've been on.

We also work to change the conversation around prostitution, and help organisations who support women to deliver professional and consistent support and the highest standard of care.

Prison leavers need consistent, personalised support to make profound changes. Tailored support that addresses their unique needs and circumstances can help them overcome the barriers they face and build a stable, rewarding life.

The Rainfall Foundation does this and more. By providing comprehensive and sustainable support, we empower them to make lasting positive changes

The Rape & Sexual Abuse Counselling Centre (RSACC) was established in 1990 as a free and confidential specialist service for women and girls in Darlington and County Durham who have experienced all forms of sexual violence. RSACC’s primary objective is to relieve the distress of individuals who have suffered any form of sexual violence, sexual abuse, domestic abuse or harassment and to educate and raise awareness of the consequences of sexual abuse with a view to preventing violence against women and girls. We provide services across Darlington and County Durham.

Rape Crisis Surrey and Sussex(RCSAS) are an independent specialist rape and sexual abuse support centre based in the Crawley area. We provide expert support for female survivors of any form of sexual violence aged 13+ who live or work in East Surrey and West Sussex.
At RCSAS we recognise that sexual violence exists on the continuum of violence against women and girls. All of our services support survivors of all forms of sexual violence.We offer a holistic, woman-only, and professional service. All of our services are offered free of charge to survivors under the age of 18, and are provided on a donation basis for those who are aged 18 or over.
We believe that survivors of sexual violence are the experts of their own lives, and consequently all of our workers are led by the women and girls we support. Whenever it happened, whatever happened, and however many times it has happened, all survivors deserve the very best support.

Reach Dem UK is a voluntary organisation which exists to ensure that no one is ever deemed unreachable by society. We are determined to tell the stories of those young persons who have no voice.

REACH INSIDE is a charity that has been set up to help friends and family members of prisoners to REACH INSIDE and communicate easily with their loved ones.
Our POST–2–PRISON project allows anyone with online access to send a photo and a message to any UK prisoner completely free of charge.
All you need to do is visit our website (its mobile friendly too) and send your message, we will then print it and post it directly into prison.

We provide confidential and free one-to-one coaching to adults who struggle to read in West Surrey and North East Hampshire.

Rebuilding Futures Alliance is a not-for-profit organisation established to create national opportunities for employers, helping place people with low-level past convictions into full-time, meaningful careers at scale. The initiative brings together a powerful alliance of credible charities, each with a strong track record and a national network of experienced providers.

Launched in January 2025, our mission is to reduce reoffending by building inclusive and sustainable employment pathways for people with previous convictions who have spent time in prison. As a business-led organisation, we partner with expert charities and social enterprises to create smart pathways that both mitigate risk for employers and support individuals in rebuilding their futures.
