Clinks is launching a new regional policy forum for the South West.
It will help local organisations stay informed and up to date with new developments in criminal justice policy and give them the opportunity to inform Clinks’ national policy work.
The first forum will focus on prisons and influencing local strategic partnerships as well as including an overview of national policy developments from the Clinks policy team.
Speakers at the first forum meeting include:
Bridie Oakes-Richards, Governor of HMP Dartmoor, giving an overview of what’s new in prisons and the role of the voluntary sector
Jayne Zito, Operations Co-ordinator at CASSPlus, on engaging with the Local Criminal Justice Board and other strategic partnerships
Nicola Drinkwater, Policy Officer at Clinks, giving an update from the national Reducing Reoffending Third Sector Advisory Group (RR3) meeting which Minister for Prisons and Probation Sam Gyimah is attending.
The first meeting is free for all to attend. Meetings will rotate around the region, with the first meeting being in Exeter.
