Since 1885, Forces Employment Charity's aim has been to help those leaving and those who have left the Armed Forces to find and to remain in employment throughout their working lives. We aim to make the client 'Job Ready' by signposting them to bespoke support required using our Project Nova network of support and tracking this via our Nova Support team prior to finding them the right employment choice.
Project Nova is an early intervention scheme working in conjunction mainly with the Police and NHS dealing with Ex Military personnel who have been arrested or are on the periphery of doing so. Project Nova works with many partner organisations including HMPPS & CRCs and local authorities along with numerous military charities.

Gangsline is a non-profit organisation established in 2007 to provide help and support to young men and women involved in gang culture. We work with individuals from the deprived parts of our communities and with deeply entrenched social, educational, spiritual and family issues. Central to our ethos and success is a proactive, spiritual and non-enforcement led approach to gangs, and the gang violence embedded our local communities.

Today Gangsline delivers its unique services by providing a proactive and reactive approach that offers support and exit strategies to young men and women involved in gangs, and an effective prevention service to young people on the peripheries of gang activity. Our specialist outreach response team – all of whom are ex-gang members themselves – are uniquely placed to access and work alongside even the most high risk gang leaders and members.

Geese Theatre Company is a team of professional theatre practitioners who present interactive drama and facilitate workshops, staff training and consultation in prisons, secure mental health settings, young offender institutions, and in the community with probation services, youth offending teams and related agencies. A registered charity based in Birmingham, Geese works throughout the UK and overseas and has gained an international reputation for innovative work with vulnerable and socially excluded groups, becoming widely acknowledged as one of the key organisations championing the role of arts in the criminal justice system and wider social welfare arena. Our work provides solutions to a range of criminogenic issues, primarily focussing on attitudes, thinking and behaviour and addressing themes such as domestic abuse, sexual offending, violence, resettlement, substance misuse and offending, self-efficacy, and employability.

Genesis is a leading UK housing association and provider of care and support services. With 40 years experience our care and support services reach vulnerable people in London, East Anglia and South East enabling full and independent lives. Services include:Integrated Offender Management Services (helping offenders reintegrate into communities),24 hour emergency on call service provision for vulnerable customers, Services for Learning Disability, Mental Health and Homelessness. We run a successful Supporting Treatment and Accommodation and Recovery (STARs) project in Suffolk, providing good quality flats for vulnerable single people who are homeless,unsuitably housed or being released from prison. Housing advice & advocacy runs in conjunction with an intensive support recovery programme which is centred around tailored individual recovery plans. We have indepth knowledge of the accommodation options available throughout the county and understand the barriers facing clients.

Good Vibrations runs gamelan (Indonesian bronze percussion) courses, in prisons and secure hospitals and with offenders and ex-offenders in the community, helping people develop crucial life- and work-skills such as communication, teamworking, creative thinking and concentration. Participants are then also more motivated to engage in other constructive activities.

GMCC supports both men and women from custody to community. We work both with people of faith and with those who have none, helping them, through our IAG service and link partners, to resettle on release. Each ex-offender is given a mentor to help this process.

GreenSquareAccord has been established for over 50 years, and provides accommodation-related support to ex-offenders who are at risk of homelessness. We work throughout the Midlands and currently support approximately 300 clients in Trust accommodation or through our floating support services - one of our properties is designated for ex-service personnel involved in the CJS. We additionally provide Specified Activity Requirement contracts for female offenders (Coventry & Warwickshire); resettlement services from Approved Premises across the West Midlands and the Birmingham Homeless Offender Resettlement Unit in Birmingham; and deliver a Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programme in Coventry.

The Trust employs a dedicated Employment & Skills Advisor to work with our clients, supporting access to job markets, self-employment and training/educational opportunities.

The Trust is building its bank of volunteers and is proactive in employing and engaging ex-offenders.

Growing for Life provides an integrated horticulture learning programme enabling participants to grow in the widest sense. Working in prisons around the South West, we are also creating projects outside prisons, where people develop life skills and qualifications to improve their employability. Our first project is outside Torquay, and we are expanding the scheme elsewhere in the South West.

Hafal (meaning 'equal') is the principal organisation in Wales working with individuals recovering from serious mental illness and their families. As a member led Charity, we were founded 20 years ago on the belief that people who have direct experience of mental illness know best how services can and should be delivered. Providing support across all 7 local health board areas of Wales and delivering over 76 projects, Hafal is dedicated to empowering people with serious mental illness and their families to:
• Achieve a better quality of life.
• Fulfill their ambitions for recovery.
• Fight discrimination.
• Enjoy equal access to health and social care, housing, income, education, and employment.

Our role is to respond to visitors and families with information support and creating a relaxing atmosphere in a stressful situation. We work closely with children of offenders and help to give an insight into the family life while the prisoner is in the establishment.

Stonham, part of Home Group works with male and female offenders and ex offenders to provide case management and a range of interventions to address multiple need including housing and housing-related support. We aim to maximise independence and compliance with statutary orders and support people to live successfully in their communities.

Humbercare was established to work with the Humberside Probation Trust. We work to: educate, rehabilitate and promote the mental and moral improvement of offenders, or any other persons in need and the rehabilitation of persons discharged from penal institutions. Humbercare received charitable status during 1989 and became a company limited by guarantee in October of that year. Humbercare came from a desire to be able to offer additional help and assistance to offenders and those at risk to reduce the risk of re-offending through local projects.

Humbercare is managed by a Chief Executive Officer and a voluntary Management Committee. Humbercare is an enabling organisation dedicated to providing quality and innovative services to adults and young people. It is Humbercare's belief that all people should have the opportunity to realise their full potential, improve skills, optimise their life chances and become responsible members of the community.

Reset is a Big Lottery funded support service that assigns volunteer mentors to work within Kent & Medway prisons or approved hostels: supporting ex-offenders who will be resettling within Kent & Medway.
Every individual's experience of release if unique and thus we aim to provide a service that reflects the challenges that they face during reintegration to the community.
We work in partnership with existing agencies to help offenders and ex-offenders become valued members of society. The initiative was developed in response to the challenges faced by many ex-offenders when they tried to begin a new life after release from prison and to the high level of interest from numerous community organisations in helping with resettlement.

Langley House Trust works with ex-offenders, and those at risk of offending, to establish positive foundations so that they can lead crime-free lives and become contributors to society. We have a 3% reconviction rate nationally. We achieve this through accommodation-based support, comprehensive rehabilitation and personal development programmes, education and vocational training, move-on support and in-prison visiting. We are a Christian charity, working with people of any faith or no faith.

Leicestershire GATE is the only not for profit organisation working with the Traveller and Gypsy communities across Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland. We support the diverse needs of these, the most marginalised and invisible communities in Britain. We act as the crucial link between community members and essential services such as schools, health providers, Police, local authorities and housing. We are able to ensure that these services are 'Traveller ready' by providing in depth cultural awareness training whilst at the same time ensuring that community members have a detailed understanding of what to expect from these services. In doing so, we remove the multiple barriers that exist for Traveller and Gypsies, we take an equitable approach by recognising that as communities that have been ignored for generations, the idea that they can freely engage with these services is a barrier in itself We are community steered and as such, the work that we undertake is community instructed

LAT provides resettlement and rehabilitation support for individuals involved at all stages of the criminal justice system from the point of arrest; as well as for their families and dependants.

The charity delivers ETE, housing, family support and resettlement interventions both in prisons and in the community. Specific interventions are offered for women. LAT works with all offence types, and has particular specialism in resettlement of men convicted of sexual offences.

LAT delivers a number of national programmes including Liaison and Diversion and CFO3, as well as local innovations such as Young Oasis which helps children living with a parent or guardian with a drug or alcohol addiction. LAT also introduced the 'departure lounge' concept to prison, starting UK's first one at HMP Lincoln in 2015.

Volunteers are a key aspect of support, and individuals including peers, are recruited and trained for various volunteering and mentoring roles.

Upcycle believe everyone deserves a chance at a better future. We work to prevent people from being pulled into crime and help those already in the system find paths out. We run bike maintenance programmes for at-risk and marginalised youth in Bradford and in prisons and young offender institutions across the UK. Our trainees learn skills, gain valuable experience, and build the resilience and self-belief needed to succeed. Most refurbished bikes, often saved from landfills, are donated to those in need, both locally and globally. The remainder are sold in our Community Bike Shop in Shipley, providing affordable and good quality bikes to the local community and funding our work.

We are primarly an Advice and Advocacy organisation that provides specialist advice in the areas of Debt, welfare benefits, employment and housing. We also have specialist projects assisting individuals with learning difficulties, mental health issues, forces families and those with life limiting conditions. We in addition are part of partnership with all CAB's in North Yorkshire, Foundation Housing, Mencap and Local Advocacy services. We have provide regular advice services to the local prison and continue to have a strong relationship with support agencies in our area.
