St Johns is an independently managed male Approved Premises and Outreach project. We work with men who are in the main presenting as high and medium risk of harm , we accommodate men who are involved in the Criminal Justice System, and also operate a move on Outreach Service . We provide a safe , stable and structured environment and deliver a variety of activities and programmes . We have developed a number of specialist partnerships and work with multiple agencies to offer an individualistic service user led approach in order to work towards reducing re-offending.

St Petrock’s has been working for over 18 years to support people who are homeless or vulnerably housed to improve their circumstances and lead fulfilling lives.

We aim to:
• Improve access to housing and help clients to successfully maintain a tenancy
• Improve health, well being and life expectancy
• Enable access to training, volunteering and employment opportunities.

St Petrock’s works to achieve these objectives through a number of emergency, support and prevention programmes including, advice, housing and support, outreach, resettlement, work and volunteering projects, prison housing advice, “through the gate” resettlement service, and a hub providing health and substance misuse services, basic survival services and emergency winter accommodation.

Many of the people we work with have become socially excluded and many have complex and overlapping needs such as mental health, addictions, offending or a learning or physical disability.

The St Vincent de Paul Society (or as it is often known the SVP) is an international Christian voluntary organisation dedicated to tackling poverty and disadvantage by providing practical assistance to those in need irrespective of ideology, faith, ethnicity, age or gender. Our community support projects provide a wide variety of support to those in need including Community Shops, Furniture Re-Use Projects and Advice and Support Centres. We also work with Community Payback in Yorkshire, Manchester and the North East. We run a diverse range of projects accessible to offenders and ex-offenders; these include specialist level debt and housing advice, counselling and support, community learning including English as a foreign language, literacy and numeracy courses employability skills, general welfare benefits and immigration advice. In Newcastle we operate two Approved Premises.

TStandOut is an award-winning charity that empowers people to make positive change, realise their potential, and rebuild their lives after prison. Our unique programme begins in prison with coaching and practical support and continues after release, for as long as someone needs us.

Step One Charity is a Devon based organisation providing community, custody and residential based services for people who find themselves socially excluded due to disadvantage.
Since 2015 we have delivered on the HMPPS CFO3 contract supporting participants in custody along the probation pathways and through the gate back in to their local communities.
Our Case Managers provide tailored one to one, person centred support aimed at generating the skills, confidence and self-belief necessary to promote social inclusion.
Experienced in delivery at HMP Dartmoor and HMP Channings Wood whilst ensuring a smooth transition on release into their community/probation areas.
As an organisation we have been working hard to respond to the current global crisis and are providing additional training for staff whilst creating bespoke material to enable us to reach out online and increase the number of people that we are able to help and support.

Step Together’s Criminal Justice Programme provides 1:1 support and matches individuals with a cause and a specific voluntary role with which they identify, acting as a catalyst for change - improving personal skills, well-being and employability, and enabling them to be self-supporting and play a more active and engaged part in society on release.

Working on both sides of the prison gate, to ensure seamless progression from prison to community, the programme enables people who would otherwise be excluded from society to participate in positive and purposeful diversionary activity, improving integration, building a sense of belonging and involvement, a resilience to turn their back on the past, and opening significant opportunities for the future. The programme supports individuals regardless of age and the offence committed.

Stepping Stones is a unique service in Luton for women offering support on a variety of issues such as drugs/alcohol, domestic abuse, mental health, problems related to offending or re-offending in a safe, warm and supportive environment. We also have an Ofsted Registered Childcare Service so children can be looked after in a safe environment whilst their mothers/carers access support. We work in Partnership with BeNCH CRC to divert women from custody, reduce women’s offending and divert women from the criminal justice system. We offer a huge variety of comprehensive services. We are a holistic womens service that understands and takes every aspect of women’s lives into account. We use gender-responsive guiding principles in creating an environment that reflects and understands the realities of the lives of women that addresses and responds to their strengths and challenges.

Stockport Women's Centre provides services to any women who is in need of support. This includes women who have experienced or are experiencing domestic violence. Due to the nature of the work membership is restricted to women only.

Mission Statement
The Women’s Centre will support, empower and educate to improve the wellbeing and physical and mental health of women, enabling them to have improved life chances for themselves and their families.

The Stonham Leeds Accommodation Service is a residential service providing 26 bed spaces in shared accommodation and 10 bed spaces in self contained accommodation in Hunslet, Beeston and Kirkstall areas of Leeds. We provide accommodation to homeless male, female and transgender ex-offenders on a probation licence or community order over the age of 18 for up to 2 years.

Through tailored support plans we work with clients to identify and develop their skills to live independently and avoid re-offence. We offer support in helping to build self-confidence and self-esteem. We help clients to access specialist support in a number of areas including: mental health, alcohol and substance misuse and support around addressing offending behaviour.

We assist clients to find appropriate permanent accommodation. We provide practical support with moving and resettlement issues. The projects can remain a point of contact for clients who feel they may need assistance once they have moved on.

StopSO is the only UK-wide charity offering 121 face-to-face therapy to anyone who feels at risk of sexually offending for the first time or re-offending. We also offer therapy to their partners and families.
We offer therapy to survivors and victims of sexual abuse too.

We run day-long creative writing workshops, tutored by published children’s authors, teaching prisoners how to write bedtime stories for their children in order for them to maintain contact with their families and help lessen the trauma of parental absence for a child. The stories are then printed and given to the children or recorded via Storybook Dads initiative. We have Arts Council support for this work and have been featured in Woman’s Hour and in the Guardian.

Street Soccer Academy is a professional service provider that specialises in the rehabilitation and reintegration of vulnerable and ‘at-risk’ individuals into communities. We work on behalf of some of the nation’s hardest to reach groups within our communities. Our custody to community model is in operation in HMP Forest Bank and has proven to be very successful over the three-year period we have operated in partnership with them. Street Soccer Academy offers two main streams of service delivery – a football based coach education programme and health and fitness programme. Our community based regional centres provide the opportunity to continue engaging with the participants once released and to develop their roles in society. With 80 men a year having completed our internal programmes, more than 90% choose to engage with us in community and we have an associated reoffending rate of just 8%.

We aim to facitate confidence and lifeskills through the creative arts, access to culture and new technology. We work mainly with the offending community and young people who are at risk of offending. Stretch achieves its objectives by delivering a variety of innovative and bespoke projects, enhancing the rehabilitation and education of these marginalized communities. We are clear advocates of the benefits of cultural education in engaging into society those that have suffered social exclusion and fallen through the welfare net.

At present, our primary focus is the delivery of Stretch Digital, a digital literacy project with prisoners providing a platform for the making and dissemination of digital stories using technology to bridge the digital divide. We equip participants with skills in new media in order to share their personal experiences of the criminal justice system and the life that lead them there.

Studio 3 Arts is at the forefront of socially engaged, co-created artistic practice. We bring artists and communities together for creative and social change across North East London and West Essex with a community curated arts centre in Barking.

We are an award winning service user team, who on 2nd June 2014 were awarded the equivalent of an MBE, by Her Majesty the Queen. We manage local service user involvement work (forums, consultations, research etc.) In addition we offer individuals who have been in any way affected by addiction and social exclusion, the opportunity to move forward with their lives. We support access to opportunities within education, training, volunteering and employment. We do this by way of offering tailored and bespoke support (by people in recovery) to our visitors and service users alike. We have supported 131 people into sustainable employment within the last 4 and a half years (Jan 2011 to July 2015) and believe that everyone has the power change. We recruit volunteers to support our work (all 4 staff members volunteered initially). We also offer recreational activities to increase social networks and they are free for the participants.

We are offering support to those struggling with social isolation and disengagement. These individuals are recently released from prison and/or have a history of addictions, poor health and mental health issues. We are able to support these individuals with mental health support, well being, coping strategies and resilience building. We look to work with these individuals via online support, due to Covid-19 restrictions and some possible license conditions due to previous offences. We offer safe spaces to discuss and explore possible barriers to effectively building a positive and settlement into community life.

The organisation concentrates on drama therapy the use of teaching English reading a writing to prisoners that haven’t been able to access education the use of them being able to enhance their skills and to have primary skills that will help them to gain opportunities once they are released also the use of creativity and imagination within drama workshops to help with mental health as well as being able to deal with the current situation

Surf Therapy CIC uses surfing as a therapy to work with men with mental health issues, substance misuse issues and as an outdoor therapy to work with ex-offenders and men at risk off offending. Surf Therapy CIC is a member of the International Surf Therapy Organization.

Surrey Community Action is a local infrastructure organisation, working both as a council for voluntary services and a rural communities council. We aim to provide a wide range of services to the voluntary, community and faith sectors, to help them grow and develop. We provide resources, training, funding and advocacy.
