Hammer and Tong Productions is an award-winning social enterprise based in Cambridge, and registered with the Ministry of Justice as a Tier 3 service provider.
Our aim is to improve young people’s lives who may have difficult and troubled backgrounds, which could include mental health issues or illicit substance/alcohol abuse, which have contributed to them making poor life choices and being involved in the criminal justice system.
We work with these young people to engage them through filmmaking, music, art and drama workshops. The programme covers both prevention and rehabilitation of young offenders, re-offenders or ex offenders with the aim of breaking the cycle of offending.
Our workshops can be tailored to the interests of the individual groups taking part on the course and correlate with their specific needs. We offer a specialist intervention programme delivered over 6 months with one day attendance per week for youth and adult offenders, gang members and anyone at risk of re offending.
