NYMAZ is a youth music development charity which champions the transformative potential of music for children and young people. We know that music has the power to change lives – it can raise aspirations, enable personal and social development, and enhance career prospects. Working with our trusted partners, we deliver high quality music-making activities across North Yorkshire to those in challenging circumstances, including rural isolation. We are also committed to strengthening the sector through workforce development, building strategic partnerships and advocating for the benefits of participatory music.

P3's main aim is to give people the practical skills and self esteem that they need to sustain an independent and self sufficient lifestyle by providing opportunities and support to help vulnerable people move from social exclusion to inclusion.

P3 offers successful and lasting routes out of social exclusion and homelessness by operating a variety of effective services to help to overcome the challenges that the public sector can no longer tackle alone in creating positive outcomes to people at real risk of social exclusion.

We've been around for over 30 years, working in some of the most deprived areas of the UK with some of the most at risk groups in our society, helping them to rebuild their lives. And we're pretty good at it too. We support hundreds of people every day to take control of their lives and move towards social inclusion and healthy positive lifestyles.

Our advocacy service advocates in the best interests of homeless and ex-offender's children (the highest risk group). We represent the best interests of their children in Court, housing applications and in family mediation. We write reports on risks and outcomes based on consultation with parents, solicitors, probation, third sector or Social Workers. We either write or attend Family Court or Youth Court as expert witnesses on Rights and risks of abuse and criminalisation to Children and Young People who become involved in the criminal justice system.
We need to form partnerships with accommodation providers and resettlement services for individuals and families with children at risk or young people under threat from others in their current location

PERS provides HR, Employment Law and Home Working Support, Advice and Training.
We provide a telephone helpline service, consultancy, training, mediation and produce a wide range of publications covering all aspects of employment law and home working.

We deliver first class mental health services and training across the Borough, from our roots as a small service user led charity, we have grown and developed new and innovative services that respond to the needs of our local community. Delivering services that generate positive mental health outcomes lies at the heart of what we do. We promote positive mental well-being through a range of activities which are tailored to focus on people’s strengths and build their confidence and self-esteem as well as lessening isolation and providing a network of support and practical strategies to use as needed. Our Road to Recovery Service uses person-centred assessment and support planning to assist recovery from mental illness. Personalised support includes assessment, goal setting, therapeutic and practical interventions. It may include preparation for work or volunteering, for vulnerable adults.

Restorative Solutions is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) committed to enabling the use of innovative restorative approaches as a practical and cost-effective intervention for reducing harm or conflict.
We introduce restorative practices to organisations, volunteers and front line workers who are looking for a proven and worthwhile alternative to existing conventional approaches to reducing conflict, disputes, anti-social behaviour, bullying, crime and re-offending. We deliver bespoke, commissioned Restorative Justice services to organisations.

For those who are in prisons, hope can seem like a lost dream. Bringing the Good News of Christ’s unshakable power to save and transform a life breathes hope and light back into lost souls. Supporting Prison Governors: A Leadership Lifeline
We coach-train-mentor small groups of prison governors on Zoom so that they can stay sane, think clearly under pressure and bring their people with them while operating remotely in difficult circumstances.
This work started during the Covid-19 pandemic 2020 and has grown in scope to include Deputy Governors and other senior leaders.

Improved mental health

We are primarily an organisation that works with men who are being investigated for sexual offences. However, we also work with more general harmful sexual behaviours, and with serious violent offenders, especially in their resettlement into the community after long periods of imprisonment.

The Company established for 29 years arts dramatherapy, Live streaming, training, Alcoholic and drug addiction recovery programmes, Educational establishments. Film /video production. chat shows to inspire individuals, Music, drama, creative writing therapy. We work with non-arts partners delivering motivational
taster courses, engaging participants with the benefits of natural substances for recovery. Work in the wider community includes, Film, theatre video production live streaming. ATTACC, NHS, Trauma role-play specifically dealing with knife crime, terrorist scenarios, murder scenarios. Further community base partners Men Cap, British / Scottish Autism, Deaf society, Local council providers. Alzheimer's societies, Schools nationally including SEN. Deafways. Our mission to use live streaming interactive, to inspire, engage and motivate positive change, using the 'Perfect Vehicle', drama and associated arts.

Using the setting of the sea, our mission is to develop and maintain peoples’ positive mental health and wellbeing through the medium of sail training and health education.

Our aim is to reach individuals, children, young people and adults in communities who are struggling with mental health such as anxiety, depression, self-injurious behaviour or various forms of personality disorder.

Sea Sanctuary uses very different platforms from which we deliver our service; our wooden yacht ‘Fire Dancer’ and through our land-based facility, ‘Water’s Edge’. Work is also currently underway for our new well-being centre, ’The ARC’ which is due to launch in September 2018.

SherlockAI is a not-for-profit CIC who passionately believe in supporting those engaged with the criminal justice system to create better lives for themselves and our communities. We are a team of people with lived experience of the criminal justice system, Probation workers and people who have years of experience within the third sector. We combine this experience to provide excellent service to our partners. Our goal is to leverage emerging AI technology to create better outcomes for people engaged with the criminal justice system.

​But we're just getting started. We want to evolve SherlockAI into a personalised life coach companion to help each individual achieve better outcomes. We do that better as a team working with partners.

We are a long-established charity, started 20 years ago. We principally work with young people to educate and inform them about the dangers of criminal behaviour and stage multi-agency crime and safety awareness days in secondary schools.
We also take offenders, released on licence to these days and have employed offenders and ex-offenders to deliver workshops in schools which has given them a purpose in life and assisted with their rehabilitation.

As a national charity, United Response supports people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and / or mental health needs and we have extensive experience at developing services which are person centred and designed around the needs of the each person we are supporting. We know that one size does not fit all and core to our support is treating each person as an individual and designing our support around them – not the other way round. We do not try to ‘fit’ people into services, we try to provide support that is person-centred.

We have particular expertise working with people with more complex and challenging needs. 80% of our services include people with complex, multiple requirements, including support to a number of people who were resettled within supported living from long stay hospitals, and whose behaviours present significant challenges to services.

Unlock Drama (UD) has over eight years’ experience working across the criminal justice system, delivering in more than 30 prisons with groups including sex offenders, young offenders, women vulnerable prisoners and foreign nationals.

Prisons we work within include: HMPYOI Swinfen Hall, HMYOI Brinsford and HMP Send etc.

UD utilises creative methods, which offers a unique tool that encourages teamwork, confidence, communication skills, motivation, organisation, listening skills, leadership, resilience and more. UD deliver creative projects closely linked to rehabilitation and focuses on addressing dominant concerns within the prison estate such as Engagement in activities, Substance Misuse and Debt.

UD also delivers issue-based theatre within the community working with participants such as: recovering drug addicts, homeless, young people at risk of offending and ex-offenders.

MESMAC is a sexual health project, working predominantly with gay and bisexual men and men who have sex with men, dealing with sexual health and prevention of HIV and AIDS throughout West and North Yorkshire. Its community development approach means that it is also concerned with the wider lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGB&T) health, social and equity agendas.
