1. Transforming Rehabilitation: sustaining BAME offender services
Do you provide services for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) offenders? Have you recently lost funding to provide these services? Are your current funding arrangements due to come to an end?
Find out what the Transforming Rehabilitation reforms will mean for your organisation and how your can ensure sustainability for your services. These events will provide:
• An overview of the reforms and where small-medium sized, specialist BAME services might fit in
• An example of a BAME organisation already in a supply chain – experiences and lessons learnt
• Next steps – practical support available/actions to take
• An opportunity for Q and A and discussion on how this will affect your organisation/BAME service users
2. Clinks Member's Forum
Where would you like to see Clinks focussing our attention? How can we best support and represent you? What are your priorities for the coming year?
We highly value our Members' input and views on the work Clinks is doing, and how we can best support you in the ever-changing policy environment. Come and meet staff from Clinks’ membership and local development teams, network with other members, discuss your issues and priorities and help us shape Clinks’ future work.
Join us for lunch from 1pm, and our Forum will run from 2-3pm. Please note, this session is only open to Clinks Members.
3. Volunteering roundtable
Do you work with volunteers in criminal justice? Come and share your experiences with others in your region in this short one-hour workshop.
Our recent survey around volunteering highlighted a number of issues for organisations who included volunteers as part of their work in the Criminal Justice System. This will be an opportunity to discuss these issues in more detail, and explore where Clinks could best offer support.
Share your experiences, learn from one another's good practice, and help to shape Clinks' future work around volunteering.
