Are you an experienced trainer who is passionate about helping people develop their skills, confidence and opportunities? Do you have experience of working with young people or families facing adversity and want to use your knowledge to make a real difference? If so, St Giles Trust is looking for a Project Trainer and Assessor to join our Aspiring Champions team in Rhyl and Colwyn Bay.
About St Giles Trust
An ambitious, well-established charity that helps people facing adversity to find jobs, homes and the right support they need. Central to our ethos is our belief that people with first-hand experience of successfully overcoming issues such as an offending background, homelessness, addictions and gang involvement, hold the key to positive change in others.
About the Project
Aspiring Champions is a community-based project supporting young mothers aged 14–24 who are at risk of, or affected by, criminal and sexual exploitation.
The project takes a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach, helping young women and their children to overcome challenges, build confidence and achieve positive outcomes. A key part of the project is developing Community Champions with lived experience, enabling people to build the knowledge, skills and confidence to support others and play an active role within their communities.

Alongside your training responsibilities, you will help develop partnerships, facilitate workshops and community activities, and provide direct support to participants where appropriate.
