Evening Driver
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Evening Driver to join our Residential Services team in Brimscombe. This is a rewarding role where you will play an important part in supporting individuals on their recovery journey, providing safe transport, practical assistance and helping clients engage with vital health and support services.
What will you do?
- Safely transport clients to and from appointments, including collecting prescriptions
- Support clients to attend GP, hospital and other off-site appointments
- Meet, greet and welcome new clients to the residential service
- Build positive relationships with clients that encourage engagement and recovery
- Carry out regular vehicle safety checks and maintain accurate mileage records
- Provide practical support and crisis intervention where appropriate
What we are looking for
- Full clean driving licence essential (Category D1 entitlement to drive a minibus is desirable)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to develop positive and professional relationships with clients
- Understanding of safeguarding, health and safety and professional boundaries
- Experience working in a residential or support setting is desirable
- Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
