Employment Adviser

Are you a proactive, highly organised and empathetic individual?

Do you have a proven record of managing a caseload and achieving individual set targets for engagement, training and employment outcome?  

Do you have experience of supporting colleagues to achieve overall project outcomes, including a strong track record in successfully supporting people into sustainable employment?

If so, St Giles is looking for an Employment Adviser to join our team and deliver casework, employability support and build the foundation for skills and aspirations. 

Our successful candidate will hold and support a caseload of clients, some of whom are facing various forms of adversity, to overcome barriers, increase employability and progress into meaningful and sustainable Education, Training and Employment.  

You will support the promotion of the project internally and externally to support the achievement of project targets for engagement and progression onto training, employment and other outcomes.

We will also rely on you to develop and deliver one-to-one and group activities which are engaging and high-quality and establish excellent partnerships working with key organisations, employers and partners, plus carry out promotional, marketing, information and recruitment activities to engage clients and build relationships with key partners and stakeholders.  

Developing contacts and liaising with external agencies to develop positive working relationships so you become the locally recognised Trusted Adult enabling effective referrals of participants and developing progression opportunities is a vital aspect of the role.

Fixed-Term Contract until 31st March 2027
£29,703 p/a + generous benefits 
Full time, 35 hours pw

• Experience of monitoring, evidencing and reporting on work with clients and the results achieved
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, verbal and written
• A flexible, collaborative and professional approach to your work
