Prison Support Worker
The Prison Support Worker will work alongside the Prison Ministry Project Lead to deliver Imago Dei's prison ministry across women's prisons in Kent & Surrey.
The role is focused on building positive relationships with women in custody through facilitating rehabilitative programmes, offering pastoral and spiritual encouragement and supporting women to discover their worth, identity and potential.
Alongside programme delivery, the post holder will provide essential administrative support to ensure the effective planning, monitoring and evaluation of prison projects while helping to develop and support our growing team of prison volunteers.

Our prison ministry delivers courses, pastoral and spiritual support and mentoring that encourage women to recognise their value, develop resilience and make positive life choices.
Shift: 3 days a week – Monday & Tuesday in prisons in Kent & Surrey and Wednesday or
Thursday either in prison or remote working (22.5hrs)
Salary: £27,000 salary pro rata (£16,500)
Holiday: 28 days Annual Leave pro rata =17 days, plus bank holidays
