Finance Officer
This role is a key role to ensure resources are used effectively to support our important work.
The position involves the management of budgets, delivering payroll, meeting compliance requirements and taking accountability for financial reporting.
This post provides essential financial insight to aid strategic planning and decision-making. AAT qualification or equivalent is essential, ACCA desirable. Extensive experience will also be considered.
In addition to the core accounting duties of managing financial operations through systems and procedures, this role is a core part of supporting our team of Service Leaders to provide financial support and advice to budget-holding managers. Duties also comprise of setting fundraising goals, presenting reports to the Board and ensuring audit compliance.
*In addition to the BWC role described here, there is the potential, for the right candidate, to carry out an additional 1.5-2 days per week working in partnership with the Network of International Women – see their website for more information about their organisation www.niwbh.org.

Hours of work: 14-21 hours per week, core hours to be worked within office hours 9am-5pm with some evening work to attend Board meetings*
Salary: £11,200 - £16,800 pro rata (£28,000 FTE)*
