Wellbeing Coach x 2

Nepacs is a values-led charity supporting people affected by the criminal justice system. 

We work alongside individuals and families at times of challenge and change, offering practical, emotional and wellbeing support that helps people move forward.

Within a programme led by The Wise Group, the roles support delivery of services across the North East to men under probation supervision. 

We are looking to recruit two Wellbeing Coaches (1 for the Durham area and 1 for Cleveland) to provide person-centred, trauma-informed support to people experiencing emotional distress, instability or multiple pressures linked to custody, resettlement and the wider criminal justice system.

This role focuses on coaching, mentoring and wellbeing support, helping people to build resilience, improve coping strategies, and engage positively with services and opportunities available to them.

What you’ll do

• Provide one-to-one wellbeing and mentoring support within clear professional boundaries
• Build trusted, supportive relationships while maintaining appropriate safeguarding and security awareness
• Support individuals to identify goals, strengths and practical steps towards improved wellbeing
• Signpost and refer on to appropriate specialist services where required
• Work sensitively with people who may have experienced trauma, loss or adversity
• Maintain accurate, timely records and contribute to monitoring and reporting requirements
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, partners and agencies across criminal justice and community settings
