Floating Support Worker
As a Floating Support Worker, you’ll build positive and professional relationships with clients, adapting to different environments and service needs.
You’ll need to be highly organised, open to change, and comfortable with working in different locations at short notice.
One week you might be working in our Exeter Supported Housing service, and the next, supporting our Outreach project in Weymouth.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across a range of services all whilst making a real impact!

Additional information
- Valid driver's license and access to own vehicle – business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends according to the project needs.
- This role involves travel across our various projects in the South West, including Exeter, Weymouth, and Mendip. As travel is a regular part of the role, please note that mileage and other travel expenses can be claimed back. Expense reimbursements are processed twice a month to help keep things smooth and timely.

What you'll be doing
- Providing clients with advice and information to help them access appropriate services
- Ensure new clients understand their rights, responsibilities, and license agreements
- Supporting clients to move on from services in a planned and positive way
- Participate in outreach sessions supporting individuals who are sleeping rough
