Study Support Manager
Thanks to recent funding success and to our increasing student numbers, we are recruiting two new Study Support Managers to join our team.
One position has an immediate start and the other will start in late January, subject to our continued success with student recruitment.

Background
DWRM works with universities to offer a much wider range of degree courses than are currently available to students in prison. We focus on the provision of study materials, tuition and greater participation in a learning community so as to properly engage students.
DWRM will ensure that all the necessary support is in place to enable students to study both while they are in prison and when they are released.
Our vision opens up education, employment, and engagement to cultivate an inclusive society, where the value of prison experience drives collective transformation.
Role responsibilities
- Promote courses from partner universities to students and to prison education departments through visits and other contact.
- Recruit students to courses following appropriate Information, Advice and Guidance.
- Support prisons to establish Learning Communities in partnership with local universities.
- Manage and co-ordinate internal and external peer mentor teams
- Respond to all enquiries from students in prison with accurate and relevant information via appropriate communication channels.
- Provide generic study skills support to students as required.
- Ensure all student data is accurate, current and stored securely.
- Assist students with applications for university places and student loans or other funding and share applications with universities.
- Oversee the provision of study materials in printed or digital format.
- Provide reports as required to line manager or other stakeholders
