Rachel joined Clinks in February 2022 as Influence and Policy Manager and is responsible for managing the work of Clinks’ highly regarded policy team. Rachel has worked in criminal justice research, projects, and policy for 15 years, most recently at Unlock where she led on access to employment and higher education. Prior to that she led, created and delivered a prison university partnership with Open Book at Goldsmiths.
Her PhD explored the experiences of boys and young men serving long prison sentences and she continues to write for academic journals on subjects including long-term imprisonment, education in prison and employment.
