The review of prison education
In 2015 the Secretary of State for Justice announced a review of prison education in England and Wales to examine how it supports effective rehabilitation of different segments of prison learners. The Coates Review has since issued a call for evidence and this is Clinks' response. In our submission we highlight the importantance of a wide ranging curriculum including through the arts, sport and the involvement of families; and the role the voluntary sector can play in the provision of these.
