National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance’s submission to Arts Council England’s consultation document: Shaping the next 10 years

National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance (NCJAA) has responded to Arts Council England's consultation on its next 10 year strategy.

NCJAA welcomes and supports many of Arts Council England’s proposed outcomes, especially those which demonstrate a shift in emphasis towards equality and inclusion. We respond to each of the seven proposed outcomes and make a number of recommendations to help Arts Council England achieve its ambitious outcomes by 2030. In particular, we recommend the strategy makes explicit recognition of the arts and criminal justice sector, strengthening the case for public investment and enhancing creativity of every kind from people from any background.
