HM Government's consultation on transforming the response to domestic abuse

Clinks has responded to HM Government’s consultation on transforming the response to domestic abuse. We welcome the recognition that domestic abuse is often a key factor in women’s involvement in the criminal justice system (CJS) and stress the need for a shared approach across government to responding to victims of domestic abuse. Our response focuses on the importance of early intervention and prevention, as well as diversion from the CJS.
