Clinks' response to the draft Incentives and Earned Privileges (IEP) Policy Framework focuses on the contribution that voluntary sector partners can and should play in supporting people in prison to improve their lives; and the links between this and the IEP framework; the implications of the proposed framework for people protected under the Equalities Act (2010) and in particular black, Asian and minority ethnic prisoners; the implications of the proposed framework for supporting family ties and the importance of service user involvement in the development of an implementation of the framework.
