Clinks response to the Justice Committee inquiry into Crime Reduction Policies: A Co-ordinated Approach?

Clinks has responded to the Justice Select Committee inquiry into Crime Reduction Policies focused on the Transforming Rehabilitation (TR) proposals.

We highlight our concern about the low numbers of voluntary sector organisations that have currently signed up to provide services under TR and how the current payment mechanism incentivises the provision of services that prioritise intermediate outcomes. We outline that we would like to see the proposals offer a fair and genuine opportunity for the sector.
