Join ClinksSussex Prisoners’ Families supports local families to cope emotionally and practically with the imprisonment of a loved-one. We offer support and advice to families, as well as training and awareness-raising for professionals so that they can better meet families’ needs.
Our Volunteer Court Family Support service operates in the Crown and Magistrates’ courts.
We provide a First Stop Advocacy and Advice helpline and offer long term 1-2-1 community outreach support and run community-based family support groups across the area.
Volunteers support the families visiting experience in HMP Lewes.
Our Community Outreach team offers 1-2-1 support to families and networks with other services to raise awareness of the impact of imprisonment on and build partnerships.

Alongside a range of community based services we provide support to families to maintain contact with their family member in prison and support family visits at HMP Lewes.
We work closely with the University of Sussex and University of Brighton and have strong relationships with the Community and Voluntary sector across East Sussex, West Sussex and Brighton and Hove.
