Join ClinksWe offer emotional, psychological and practical support to women and girls suffering severe and debilitating symptoms of hormonal conditions, whether or not diagnosed, and their families and friends. We would also like to raise awareness of how hormonal conditions may mimic mental health conditions (bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, depression) and how they can dictate behaviour and diminish quality of life, by giving talks to the wider public as well as agencies women and girls may come into contact with, such as GP's, mental health, police, probation and courts and offering support to these agencies as they have little time and resources to devote to alleviating the distress women and girls experience. Research shows that more than 50% of female crime from shoplifting to baby battering takes place during the PMS phase. We aim to screen women for hormonal conditions and teach them to self regulate emotions and behaviour thus reducing crime.
