Join ClinksThe project provides mentoring support to Merseyside based offenders pre and post release from prisons across Merseyside and the North West to enable offenders to effectively resettle back into the community. By supporting their criminogenic needs the project is focused on reducing or ceasing their offending behaviour. The project provides a comprehensive service to offenders from mentoring appointments in HMP Liverpool, through the gate support on the day of release, to appointments in the community with volunteer mentors and the opportunity to become a mentor themselves. The Project also recruits and trains Peer Mentors in HMP Liverpool to support offender’s needs in custody and promote engagement.
