To improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives and to give advice and support on a wide range of subjects; including money advice, debt and housing, welfare benefits, employment, consumer rights and issues, immigration, health, education, utilities, tax, community care, legal
matters and relationships.
We also recruit and train volunteers from the local community helping
them to develop their skills and confidence.

Supporting information
We have extensive experience of advising in a prison and probation setting. We currently deliver the MAS Face to Face debt contract in Bedford prison. We also provide general advice in the prison through volunteer workers and have worked with Bedfordshire Probation services in the past doing debt and general advice, including financial capability.
