Construction Works (CW) is an innovative, market driven, ‘not for profit’ Company with the sole aim of supporting the regeneration of the local and regional community. The company is dedicated to providing flexibly delivered quality learning and training opportunities to those seeking employment, to skill and up-skill across a diverse range of work areas. Operating as‘Cityworks’, (the brand) to reflect the diverse sectors,our team support a large number of unemployed people into sustainable employment. Our company vision “Delivering local jobs for local people through partnership and service excellence”.
Over the years CW has delivered a diverse range of successful programmes, both in partnership and contracted with public, private and voluntary organisations to source and support local people into employment.

CW currently runs the PBR Work Programme contract in the G4S supply chain, a range of NEETs programmes and a range of CSR activities for several large private companies. In the last year we have supported 39.6% of our customers who are ex-offenders into work, 60% of these customers are managing to sustain their employment. This has been achieved through the personal, tailored support delivered by employment and training advisors, mentors and business team. We have excellent relationships with a large number of organisations who are willing to employ and work with our customers. We also offer a wide range of tailored training and support programmes for our customers - including money support & advice; a range of health services and we sign post to a range of specialist support services in the areas we work.
