Join ClinksHetty’s started life as self help group set up by two mothers of heroin addicts in 1996. Since then the organisation has grown to deliver nationally recognised services. Hetty’s has over 13 years of expertise and specialism delivering preventative family intervention workshops with the criminal justice system to offenders engaging with drug/alcohol treatment workers. In partnership with local adult and young offenders prisons Hetty's deliver monthly education and awareness sessions around the impact a prisoner’s drug or alcohol use has had on their family members.
The session has a particular focus on the acceptance of personal responsibility and how this can have a positive impact on repairing relationships that have broken down due to lack of communication and loss of trust. Hetty’s also deliver a 3 week course in partnership with Probation (PRR) and encourage family members to attend session 3 for group family mediation.
Ofenders can refer their family to Hetty's for support.
