Join ClinksGood Vibrations runs gamelan (Indonesian bronze percussion) courses, in prisons and secure hospitals and with offenders and ex-offenders in the community, helping people develop crucial life- and work-skills such as communication, teamworking, creative thinking and concentration. Participants are then also more motivated to engage in other constructive activities.

Typical format and outcomes of a Good Vibrations course:
Prison/YOI
Run a 1-week Good Vibrations course for up to 20 prisoners:
- Monday - Friday, ams & pms, finishing Friday am with a performance
- targeting [...] prisoners (eg those on drugs recovery wing, VPs, those about to start a SOTP, prisoners with serious mental health problems....)
- participants don't need to have any previous musical experience or to be able to read and write
- mixed ability groups welcome
- those that want to, can use the course to attain an NOCN qualification (Developing Teamworking Skills Level 1, Music Ensemble Skills Level 1 or 2)
- outcomes to be achieved (research shows these are maintained in the long term, ie 12-18 months on): improved communication and listening skills, improved engagement, greater self-confidence, improved relationships with others (peers, staff, family), greater tolerance and open-mindedness, reduced levels of anger, greater sense of calm
