Supporting information
GIPSIL has over 20 years experience of providing housing-related support to enable young people to achieve the five core objectives of the ‘Every Child Matters’ Framework
• Being Healthy
• Staying Safe
• Enjoying and Achieving
• Making a Positive Contribution
• Achieving Economic Well-Being
A 2011 study by Leeds Metropolitan University considered the achievements of GIPSIL service users against 18 outcomes under these five objectives. The authors concluded that GIPSIL service users had greater levels of need on entering our services than young people accessing comparable services in Leeds and regionally. Yet they achieved higher levels of positive outcomes against 15 of the 18 indicators.
