Community Chaplaincy Association

The Community Chaplaincy Association’s mission is to support and facilitate the development of a united network of local Community Chaplaincies supporting people in prison, through the gates and back into the community. Our members are local Community Chaplaincy projects across the UK.Community Chaplaincies work alongside prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families, offering practical, social, relational and spiritual support within prison, through the gates and out in the community.

The work harnesses the extensive resources that are available within the faith communities, most particularly volunteers who give their time to support those who are seeking to make a fresh start after leaving prison. Community Chaplaincies are multi-faith and work with offenders of all faiths and none.
