Join ClinksRooted Wisdom CIC is a trauma-informed organisation dedicated to supporting Black and racially minoritised children, young people, and families impacted by systemic inequality, school exclusion, mental health challenges, and the criminal justice system. We deliver group workshops, 1:1 therapy, staff training, and prison-based programmes rooted in psychodynamic, cultural, and identity-affirming approaches. Our work centres racial trauma, emotional resilience, and neurodivergence. We collaborate with schools, prisons, councils, and families to provide early intervention, healing spaces, and long-term systemic change. Rooted Wisdom also supports professionals through reflective spaces and training, empowering them to work compassionately and effectively with those most marginalised.

Supporting information
Rooted Wisdom CIC delivers trauma-informed, culturally grounded support for young Black and mixed-race people in prisons, schools, and community settings. We specialise in building trust with hard-to-reach groups, addressing racial trauma, identity and resilience. Our workshops and therapeutic programmes have shown measurable impact on self-worth, emotional regulation and reduced reoffending risk. We work collaboratively with prisons, schools and local authorities, and are passionate about co-creating solutions that centre lived experience, empowerment and systemic change.
