Join ClinksThe Arukah Project CIC is a not-for-profit community interest company that aims to raise awareness of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and trauma and how it impacts the lives of those who are in contact with the Justice System, Care experienced or have experienced addictions (alcohol, substance misuse). We have developed an emotional health and safety framework that includes education, sharing experience and practical learning of emotional freedom techniques (EFT). These highly effective self-help evidence-based tools act rapidly on the nervous system to support emotional regulation and we combine this the integration of trauma-informed practice.
We offer the following activities:
- group workshops for up to 12 people split over 2 days
- train-the-trainer group workshops of up to 10 per group
- peer-led interventions and training
- dedicated 1-to-1 interventions
- compassion fatigue/ resilient practitioner program for staff
- online and F2F community
- bereavement service
