Prison Family Support

With a focus on reducing reoffending and child protection, Prison Family Support (PFS) works in HMP Lewes facilitating prisoners' involvement in child related proceedings such as Child In Need conferences and adoption support. Support with making Child arrangements order applications is also available. Additionally, PFS provides activity and craft packs to the prisoners who are in contact with their children to enhance communication and strengthen relationships while in custody. We are engaged in partnership with Sussex Prisoners' Families (SPF) who also work towards reducing the impact imprisonment has on families and children. PFS also works alongside the Family Service provider at HMP Lewes to provide strong and comprehensive support for families.
