Join ClinksOak London provides a residential course and mentoring programme for young men aged 18+ who have faced challenges. We are especially inclusive of young men who are at risk of offending or reoffending. Our programme is always small and participant centred. It provides the means to inspire positive decision-making and hope-filled futures.
The programme consists of five parts:
1) Enrolment - the suitability and buy-in of the participant is assessed.
2) Residential - a 4-5 day retreat in Bristol which includes a balance of deep reflective exercises (workshops on themes such as forgiveness and reconciliation, hopes and dreams, masculinity) and community-building activities (e.g. exercise, cooking and eating together).
3) Follow-up sessions - these underpin the routines and learning from the residential course. Here we provide assistance in guiding and signposting your next steps.
4) Community project - designed and run by the participants.
5) Mentoring - weekly for 1 year.
