The findings highlight a sector under increasing pressure, with organisations facing rising costs, growing demand, and ongoing uncertainty around funding. At the same time, they underline the vital role voluntary organisations continue to play in supporting people in contact with the criminal justice system and their families.

Additionally, the report shares examples of positive practice across the sector, including a range of sector spotlights, and sets out recommendations for government and funders.
