We’re almost ready to launch this year’s State of the Sector. If you haven’t already, sign up to the launch event - click here to book your place!
In the meantime, we have written a series of blogs previewing this year’s findings starting with a blog that looks at the political context within which the sector is operating.
The overriding feeling from the sector was one of cautious optimism, about the Sentencing Bill (now Act) and the establishment of the Women’s Justice Board. But this optimism was tempered by concerns about the impact of the Sentencing Act. Particularly, whether the resources will be there to cater for the increased demand on voluntary sector services.
The blog also gives you a sneak peek of some of the report’s recommendations. Check it out and stay tuned for more updates!
