Navigating the criminal justice system workshop
09:30, 21 January 2025 | online | from £75
Navigating the criminal justice system can feel overwhelming, whether you’re just starting out or supporting new volunteers and staff in your organisation. This three-hour interactive workshop is designed to make sense of the system’s complexities, helping voluntary sector staff and volunteers deepen their understanding and find their place within it.
Through this session, you’ll gain:
- A clear overview of how the criminal justice system operates
- Insights into key processes, from arrest to conviction
- Knowledge of prisons, probation, and regional structures
- Clarity on commonly used jargon and terminology
- An understanding of the role of inspectorates, regulators, and the voluntary sector.
This is an opportunity to ask questions, discuss challenges, and connect with others working in this vital area. Whether you’re new to the field or looking to expand your knowledge, this workshop is an invaluable resource. Book your place here
