In the summer of 2018 the Charities Act (read legislation here) will come into force, meaning that people with certain convictions are disqualified from working as senior managers, finance directors, or volunteer as trustees in charities across England and Wales, unless they receive a waiver.
These are significant changes that Clinks highlighted in our briefing (click here). The Charity Commission and Clinks would really appreciate your feedback in a short roundtable session. The roundtable attendees will have access to the unpublished guidance for charities on how disqualification works, and the disqualification waiver form. Your feedback will directly impact on the final guidance.
