The MEAM Approach helps local areas design and deliver better coordinated services for people with multiple needs. It’s currently being used by partnerships of statutory and voluntary agencies in 15 local areas across England. MEAM Approach areas consider seven principles, which they adapt to local needs and circumstances. We provide hands-on support to the local partnerships as part of this process. To date, MEAM Approach areas have secured £1.3m of local funding to support their work. MEAM Approach areas that conducted evaluation report an average 23% reduction in wider service use costs and a 44% improvement in wellbeing. If your area is not currently using the MEAM Approach but you would like to learn more about how it could help you design and delivery effective, coordinated interventions for people with multiple and complex needs, please come along to our Introduction to the MEAM Approach session. You can book your place here In this video, you can hear about the MEAM Approach from people we have worked with in local areas across England. https://vimeo.com/203855259 This event is happening in the same venue as Criminal Justice Commissioning and Innovation in the Third Sector: Have Your Say!
