An event reviewing the inspection criteria for adult male prisons with HM Chief Inspector of Prisons, Peter Clarke
If you were the Chief Inspector of Prisons, what criteria would you use for assessing the treatment and conditions of prisoners?
HM Inspectorate of Prisons (HMIP) has a Development Project to review and update its inspection methodology and Expectations (the criteria used to inspect) for adult male prisons in the light of the changing prisons landscape.
Clinks is holding three free consultation events with HMIP so that voluntary organisations can learn about the project and help to set Expectations which will be instrumental in encouraging positive outcomes for prisoners.
