Most small and medium-sized voluntary sector organisations are focused on direct service delivery, and it can be difficult to keep up to speed with new developments or step back from the crucial day-to-day frontline work to see the bigger picture and context in which you are working. Clinks has launched regional policy forums which we hope will provide an opportunity to do just that, along with improving access to decision makers and allowing time for all-important networking. The forums will give organisations based outside London the opportunity to hear the latest national developments in criminal justice, and also use their experience to inform Clinks’ national policy work. The forums will also give you the opportunity to discuss key challenges you face and inform Clinks’ national policy work, and will include an update on issues raised at the previous policy forum. Read the blog from the first policy forums here.
The event includes:
- Chris Edwards, Chief Executive, Cheshire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside CRC
- Oonagh Ryder, Clinks Policy Officer, on the implementation of Transforming Rehabilitation, prison reform white paper, new Ministry of Justice strategies and other key policy developments..
- Jay Martin, Business Development Manager, Crest Co-operative
There is a small charge to attend this forum, to cover venue hire and refreshment costs. Discounts are available for members, we do not want cost to be a barrier to you attending so please get in touch if this is a problem
