What is social investment? Could it help your organisation? How does it work?
Find out more about social investment, meet social investors and hear from organisations that have used social investment to sustain or grow their organisations. Clinks is running events to help you understand what social investment is, and to explore if it could benefit you.
Speakers include:- Ed Anderton from Access, the Foundation for Social Investment, giving an overview of different options in social investment.
- Paul Humphries from The Together Group, who will outline his experience of raising and deploying social capital, the company's latest capital raising activities, and why it is looking to put in place different types of finance to fund its expansion programme.
- James Sainsbury from Addaction, on their experience of securing a grant from the government’s Life Chances Fund to implement a Social Impact Bond (SIB), aiming to reduce A&E admissions in Cornwall.
- Chris Tweedie from Charity Bank, on social investment opportunities the bank offers to charities.
